Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Celestify — our website, our mobile apps, and our public APIs. By using any of them you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Who we are

Celestify is a product operated by the Celestify team. You can reach us through our contact form.

Acceptable use

• Don't attempt to circumvent rate limits, our anti-abuse measures, or the authentication layers on the public API.
• Don't scrape content at a rate that degrades service for other users. Editorial pages (sign pages, compatibility, horoscopes) are indexable but not redistributable.
• Don't use Celestify to send unsolicited messages, harass others, or make decisions about credit, employment, insurance, or legal matters. Astrology is not a substitute for professional advice.

Accounts

You are responsible for the security of your account credentials. If you think your account has been compromised, let us know via our contact form (select “Bug report” as the subject) so we can respond quickly.

Content

The interpretations, essays, and editorial content on Celestify are ours (or our licensors') and are provided for personal, non-commercial use. You can link to any page on Celestify freely. You can't republish substantial portions of editorial content, or use it to train a model, without written permission.

Birth data you enter into the calculator remains yours. By submitting it, you grant us a limited license to compute and cache your chart for the retention window described in our privacy policy.

No warranty

Celestify is provided “as is.” We work hard on calculation accuracy, but we can't guarantee that the service will always be available or error-free. Astrological interpretations are for entertainment and self-reflection — do not rely on them for financial, medical, legal, or safety-critical decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Celestify is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (which, for free users, is zero).

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or endanger the service. We'll try to give notice where we reasonably can.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the “last updated” date above. If the changes are material, we'll announce them on the home page for at least 14 days before they take effect.
