Celestify is a free astrology platform that bridges Vedic (sidereal) and Western (tropical) traditions in a single, honest interface. Every chart, transit, dasha, and compatibility reading we publish is computed from the Swiss Ephemeris — the same high-precision astronomical dataset used by professional astrologers, academic researchers, and JPL-derived ephemeris tools — rather than guessed from sun-sign generalizations or borrowed from third-party APIs that obscure their sources.

We started Celestify because the existing astrology app market is largely paywalled, ad-cluttered, or astronomically wrong. We believe a person should be able to look up where the Moon was the moment they were born, in either zodiac system, on any device, without paying, signing up, or wading through upsells. That foundation should be free. Everything we charge for is genuinely personalized work — long-form readings, dasha forecasts, conversational AI interpretation — that takes real compute to produce.

What you can do for free

• Generate a complete Vedic + Western birth chart without signing up, using the free calculator. Charts include rasi (D1), navamsa (D9), house cusps, planetary degrees, retrograde flags, and ayanamsa offset.
• Read daily, weekly, and monthly horoscopes grounded in the real planetary transits to your sun sign for all twelve signs — not pre-written copy on a rotation.
• Explore 144 compatibility pair pages covering synastry between every combination of sun signs, plus live transit dashboards for each of the nine classical planets (Sun through Ketu).
• Look up where any planet currently sits — sign, degree, nakshatra, and retrograde status — on the transits dashboard, refreshed continuously.

Our methodology

We use Lahiri ayanamsa for Vedic calculations (the default adopted by the Indian government's Rashtriya Panchang) and Placidus houses for Western charts (the modern Western default). All planetary positions, lunar nodes, and house cusps are computed from the Swiss Ephemeris, so chart accuracy does not depend on any third-party astrology API.

AI-generated interpretations — the readings that appear after you create a chart or open a horoscope — are produced by large language models conditioned on the exact astronomical inputs for your chart: planet, sign, house, degree, aspects, and the current transiting positions. Every interpretation is grounded in the specific configuration it's reading, not generic sun-sign copy, so you can verify the astronomy yourself against the chart we render alongside it.

People who want real astrology on a real budget — students of the craft, longtime hobbyists, skeptics curious enough to check, and anyone tired of being asked to pay $9.99 to read their own moon sign. The mobile app unlocks deeper personalized work like Vimshottari dasha timelines, yearly forecasts, AI chat with your chart as context, and full synastry reports — but the core of what makes astrology useful, including the birth chart itself, will always be free on the web.

Privacy and your data

We don't require an account to use anything on the web. Birth data you enter into the free calculator is processed to compute your chart and is not attached to any profile or sold to third parties. How the site is funded

The free web experience is supported by Google AdSense and by people who upgrade to the mobile app. We don't sell user data, we don't run affiliate links inside interpretations, and we don't accept paid placements in horoscopes or readings. If an ad ever feels intrusive or off-topic, tell us and we'll look at the placement.
